IFRS Technical and Learning Centre (in cooperation with external consultants)
Our IFRS consultants provide you with quality financial reporting consulting and training services. These consultants consist of technical experts in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), IFRS for SMEs, SA GAAP and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAs) (standards used in the public sector).
They will assist you by providing formal accounting opinions and providing accounting guidance for your financial reporting and accounting issues. They can also assist in getting and keeping you and your staff up-to-date with IFRS with designer or pre-developed (standard) training programs.
The technical services provided include:
- formulation of technical (accounting) opinions on specific issues (such as transactions, events, accounting balances or financial instruments) in terms of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, GRAP/IPSAs and SA GAAP
- review of financial statements in terms of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, GRAP/IPSAs and SA GAAP. Identification of non-compliance with the presentation and disclosure requirements of the applicable financial reporting framework and reporting on areas for improvement
- preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, GRAP/IPSAs and SA GAAP. ensuring full compliance with the presentation and disclosure requirements of the relevant reporting framework.
The learning solutions provided by these consultants include:
- pre-developed IFRS courses
- IFRS Update (one day) on recent changes in IFRS - ensure you and your staff are up-to-date!
- IFRS Refresher Course (two days) - interactive course dealing with the most commonly used IFRSs and how to apply them properly
- the IFRS for SMEs Effect (one, two or three days) - ‘Overview', ‘Intensive' and ‘Comprehensive' courses, respectively.
- designer training sessions tailored to your specific needs. The length will depend on the number of topics covered.
Training is presented in-house by experienced facilitators. Your investment is a fixed amount per day, with no limit on the number of participants.
